Chinese New Year

Gong xi fa cai!

Dad is saying cheese while eating Chinese New Year's dinner in Grandma's house. I was wearing a little bit of red.

Great grandma and grandpa are eating rice, spring rolls, fried dough sticks, ribs, beef, fish and other dishes. I got 3 red envelopes with money inside.

Lily's Birthday Party

Yesterday I went to Lily's birthday party. I was eating but then it was cake time so everyone ate cake except me, so I ate cake a little bit later. It was strawberry cake and it had Belle on it.

There were ice skaters there. Dad, Mom and I got ice skates and I was a great ice skater for my first time. When I went on the watery, slippery part, I didn't like it. At the end I had one marshmallow in some hot chocolate and I got some balloons from Lily's mother.



In the second picture you can see Bridger and Lukas. They're friends at my school.

Snow White and Jumping Fish

Today I went to school. At school I went to the school library and I got a Snow White book.

She looks different from the Disney Snow White.

We did an interesting paint arts and crafts. It was taking string out of a container of paint. You take the string out of the paint and put it on to the paper and it makes the mark of the print of the string.

I played jumping fish with Samoa. I asked Lynne to play jumping fish with me but she couldn't do it.
